Dec. 13: The Way You Look Tonight
If you are home for the holidays, the Christmas time could be a perfect opportunity to spend time with old friends, to talk, laugh, maybe even fight with them – and to sing.

In the movie “Peter’s Friends”, a group of friends comes together 10 years after graduating from college to celebrate New Year’s Eve. They all seem to be successful and have found their way in life, but during the course of the movie, it turns out that nothing is what it seems, and each and every one of them struggles with their own personal problems – alcoholism, loneliness, the loss of a child.
Soon, both old and new conflicts emerge, and old friendships are being put to the test, until – on New Year’s Eve – a shocking revelation by Peter (Stephen Fry) brings them closer together again.
Technically, “Peter’s Friends” is not a Christmas movie. But there’s Christmas decoration, there’s a Christmas tree and there are people singing beautiful songs, so who cares. Besides Stephen Fry, the actors are Emma Thompson, Kenneth Branagh, Alphonsia Emmanuel and Imelda Staunton, and yes, that is “Dr. House” Hugh Laurie at the piano:
