Stargate Universe is a different animal. Stargate SG1 was light, almost comedic. Stargate Universe goes on the line of Battlestar Galactica. It tries to be serious. To be for real.

It’s not perfect, and I confess I have more *fun* with Stargate SG1… But I think they are doing a hell of a good job on Stargate Universe.

So sorry to hear that. I only got to see the pilot, and thought that it was a little dark (and yes, a little boring, too), but hoped that it would improve. Apparently, it didn’t.

SGU looks like it may be interesting. I’ll try to watch SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis again. Perhaps before I was watching the show from the wrong perspective.

I’ll see if I like it this time.

I guess everything deserves a second chance.
