Must-See of the Week: Twouble with Twitters
Over the last few weeks, I have read a lot of articles about Twitter and even written one myself, so I think that it’s safe to say that at this very moment, Twitter is the most talked about Web 2.0/social network phenomenon in the world. But there are still a lot of people out there who don’t care about Twitter or, even if they do, keep a rather critical position towards it. To that group of people, which includes a lot of my friends, I’m actually quite grateful, because they constantly make me reflect on why and for what I use Twitter. They made me realize what I think Twitter is good for – especially getting information on breaking news or sharing and receiving interesting links – and what, even though it was originally meant to do just that, Twitter in fact can’t help me with: connecting with real people.
One of the videos that I ironically found thanks to Twitter is this very thought-provoking animated clip:

I think the message of this clip is definitely worth keeping in mind.

Nice.
To “steal” a line from Barbara.
“You don’t send me flowers any more”
a more ‘techy’ version:
“You don’t send me emails any more”.
