Must-See of the Week (2): “We’re gonna be in the Hudson”
Last week, the tapes of the conversation between Captain “Sully” Sullenberger and the air traffic controller that took place just before “Sully” landed his plane in the Hudson river were released. Rachel Maddow played them on her show, and this is really worth watching, not (just) because of Rachel, but to hear for yourself how calm “Sully” remained in the face of the crisis:

I think that Americans call someone a “hero” way to often, but this time, I completely agree with them. If that man isn’t a hero, I don’t know who is. Hats off, Captain Sullenberger.
